I’ve
always been fond of playing with words. Words and chords seemed to get along
and music was a constant presence in my life. Years
went by, and what was for me a personal exercise between head, hand and pencil
became part of a collective construction. I am now the lyricist of two projects/bands –
“At Freddy’s House” and “Pyroscaphe”.
I always work over pre-existing voice
melodies, filling the empty metric with stories and characters that can simultaneously shape
and fall inside the world suggested by sounds and songs.
The
wall that separates the interiors of “At Freddy’s House” from the damp streets
of “Pyroscaphe” is high and insurmountable. I’m sure you will choose one place
over the other. The
poetic differences that exist between the two projects were deliberately shaped by the luminous and the dark contours of my soul.
In
the next pages/links you can find a summary regarding the concept behind each project
and album along with a complete list of lyrics.
I want to thank Rian McGonigal for the extraordinary support he gave me revising the lyrics
